With the current understanding and awareness of increased hygiene protection and prevention of infection spread in major public sector area’s ChairPlan are pleased to announce a new, tested and approved wood stain lacquer that is now available on our Piero Wooden range called Medicoate.

Medicoate, a highly built AC lacquer incorporates an inherent agent that STOPS bacteria surviving on its surface. This lacquer will prevent the spread of Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), Escherichia coli (E Coli), Salmonella, Listeria at a rate of 99% within 24 hours.

A new fabric from Interface called Inter/vene, a performance fabric predominately manufactured for healthcare is promoted by its Fire Retardancy, waterproof, urine proof, stain resistant, Anti-microbial/anti-bacterial and that it can be cleaned by bleach with no adverse effects. The fabric incorporates a multi-layered acrylic back coating and with fluorocarbon stain release which if used in conjuction with the medicoate stain lacquer on the wooden range chairs makes it a winning number for healthcare and many other public sector area’s.
